The short version
GoldDealerGuide.com participates in affiliate and referral programs with some of the gold IRA companies and precious metals dealers featured on this site. When you click certain links and then request a free information kit, get connected with a company, or open and fund an account, that company may pay us a commission. You never pay more because of it — commissions come out of the company's marketing budget, not your pocket.
What compensation affects
In the interest of full honesty: compensation may influence which companies we feature on comparison pages and the order in which they appear. A company we have no relationship with may receive less placement than one we partner with.
What compensation does not affect
- Ratings and scores. These are set by the criteria on our How We Rate page, applied identically to partners and non-partners.
- Criticism. Our reviews report fees, markups, complaint histories, and red flags for every company we cover, including partners.
- Editorial coverage. Our guides to gold IRA scams, red flags, and fee structures exist to protect readers, not to sell anything.
- Corrections. No company can pay to alter or remove accurate reporting.
FTC compliance
This disclosure is made in accordance with the Federal Trade Commission's guidelines concerning the use of endorsements and testimonials in advertising (16 CFR Part 255). You should assume that any link to a gold company on this site may be an affiliate link.
Not financial advice
Nothing on this site is investment, tax, or legal advice, and we are not a licensed financial advisor, broker, or dealer. Precious metals investing involves risk, including the risk of loss. Consult a qualified professional before making investment decisions.
